Mike has been writing ads for twenty years. He learned the craft at 4As powerhouses Ogilvy & Mather and Publicis in Hong Kong writing for Disneyland, Mercedes-Benz, Western Union and Sands before starting his own Advertising Agency, Immersion Creative, in 2008. 

His work has been featured in  The New York Times, China Morning Daily and the first page of Reddit. Some of his accolades include winning Best of Show (Summits) in 2022, being featured in a museum in Poster House, located in New York City.  Applied Arts awards, featured in Luerzer’s Archive (three times) dozens of Summit Awards (best small-to-mid sized agency awards), MAI awards (Hong Kong) and his work showcased in a university textbook in Australia.

 His outdoor ad about a real estate agent that shoots lasers out of her eyes was selected as Adweek’s Ad of the Week in 2016 and recognized as one of the best outdoor ads in the world that same year!
