Dr. South is a communications specialist, with a PhD in marketing and psychology from University of British

Columbia and a specialization in applied consumer behaviour. Dr. South presents her academic research at

a variety of international conferences, and also works as a freelance consultant in the area of applied

psychology and consumer behaviour. Alongside her freelance and academic work, she teaches business

and psychology at undergraduate level as well as marketing to professionals in the Sauder MBA and SMEI

programs. Prior to moving to Canada from the UK, Dr. South worked for over a decade as a producer director

at the British Broadcasting Corporation.
